Palestine Drinks Ireland was founded in September 2025 with one clear purpose: to turn heartbreak into action.

Like so many people, I watched the daily news coverage from Palestine with growing shock and disbelief. The images were relentless — injured children, grieving parents, entire communities devastated. As a father of a young child, those images did not feel distant or abstract. They felt personal. They stayed with me long after the television was turned off.

I felt the same frustration many others felt — outrage, sorrow, and a deep sense of helplessness. Thousands of lives were being lost, and yet from Ireland, it seemed there was nothing practical I could do.

So, I started looking for something — anything — that would allow ordinary people to contribute in a meaningful way.

That search led me to Palestine Drinks. I tried to buy it. In that moment, I realised something simple but powerful: I could not be the only person here who wanted to show solidarity in a tangible way.

Instead of walking away, I reached out.

Soon after, I found myself on a Zoom call with brothers Mohamed and Ahmad, founders of the Safad Foundation and Palestine Drinks. What began as a conversation quickly became a shared vision. Their integrity, clarity of purpose, and unwavering commitment to supporting Palestinian communities were inspiring.

From that day forward, Palestine Drinks Ireland was no longer just an idea — it was a responsibility.

This business is not just about beverages. It is about dignity. It is about solidarity. It is about giving people in Ireland the opportunity to make a conscious choice — to support a brand built on justice, community, and meaningful contribution.

We cannot solve a humanitarian crisis alone. But we can refuse to stand by in silence.

Palestine Drinks Ireland exists because doing nothing was not an option.

If this platform allows even one person to feel that they have contributed, even in a small way, then it is worth it.

We chose action over helplessness.

We chose solidarity over silence.

We chose to try.
